This program has many features which are accessable from the main screen. Most importantly after compiling and saving your database(s) you may wish to search for a particular file. This can be done by clicking on the 'Search' button, which takes you to the 'Search' screen. At the top right hand corner of the window is a field into which you may type in the name of the program or file that you are looking for. If it is in the root directory of any of the disks which you have catalogued using TurboCAT-Pro, then the search routine will find it, tell you which disk it is on, and offer you the option of viewing the entire contents of that disk. You may then print any results that you obtain. +3910 DIARY 2000 ---------------- Diary-2000 is an interlinked modular system of hypertext script files which give you a five-year desk diary to the end of the year 2000. The system is linked to a text editor to enable you to create, edit and save diary pages (one for each day) plus other pages of information such as public holidays, anniversaries, correspondence log files, etc., etc.. You can also call-up your Address Book (or database prog.), Accounts (or spreadsheet prog.), your Word Processor, the Calculator and Clock (if you have one installed on your system). You can also display your favourite pictures (or animations), one for each month of the year. The program does not rely on pull-down menus for its operation. Everything can be effected by clicking the left mouse button ONCE on inter-active screen boxes, making it both quick and very simple to use. If you use Diary-2000 to enter another program (database, word proc., etc.) all the menus and facilities of that program will operate as normal. The source code for a particular program should be split into `blocks` of code. These can be either a PROCESS (Can be used for anything), a PREPARATION (Generally used for routines involving initialisation) or INPUTS (Used for Input/Output routines) Each of these icons can point to a label in the source code. Eg, you could have a Process at the start of your program which referred to a label in the source code called INIT (a label is simply a line with the label name on it). LGUI is set up for 1,500 Speaking Sentences, a Speaking Sentence can have upto 25 Syllables Lines Assigned to it. You can have upto 999 Syllables Lines (Each syllable line can have upto 25 Characters in it).
